Dell Printers Software Download for Mac
Possible solutions:
(i) Some printer functionality for otherwise unsupported Dell printers is available using the Generic Postscript driver.
(2) If you have the documentation for the Dell printer, check to see whether it can emulate any other printers for which you might observe drivers.
(3) Y'all might as well try searching for drivers among the listing of supported printers at http://gimp-print.sourceforge.cyberspace/MacOSX.php3.
You tin can utilise an FX DocuPrint C525 A-AP v2.0 commuter to become your dell printer working. So change the CUPS pages for the printer options to pull from the tray not the unmarried feed like default. To alter your CUPS you demand to type in a web browser localhost:631 and that should have y'all to the cups page to alter the printer. Information technology has worked well with the macs I back up and it has besides worked well with networked printers. Only change your CUPS settings to fit your needs.
Promise this helps. Yous can find the driver on apples support.apple.com and search for the driver or if you take Snow Leopard it is on the DVD under the impress drivers.
Best luck.

My state of affairs is the same as the first one; I run OSX and have a dell 720 personal ink jet printer I need a driver for. Dell doesn't support OSX for this printer and so I was wondering how to find which other printers information technology may emulate that are supported by dell for OSX, (or whatever other solutions for that thing).

I was able to make my dell 944 AIO printer to work on a MacBookPro OS 10 Panthera leo 10.7.4 by using the Lexmark 4300 Series!! just went on Lexmark website,
researched the closest printer that resembled my printer and downloaded the driver. It downloaded the 4800 serial just didn't work so i just went one class lower which was the 4300 serial on my list and it started printing! Hope this helps anyone out in that location since i myself took hours of research till i finally was able to figure it out.

Hey, I have a Dell 2130cn. I've managed to install every driver I can call back of, including updated Gutenprint. I currently utilise the driver HP LaserJet 1320 - CUPS +Gutenprint v5.2.9. It allows me to print Landscape when I want, and I use the CUPS interface to alter my options.
But... I can't get colour out of my color printer. I'm not sure how I was able to get it previously; it once worked like a charm. Now, greyscale (using the in a higher place driver) is the best I get. Delight aid!
